BEFORE & AFTER of our DIY roof replacement on our class C motorhome!

A huge thank you to ‪@etrailer‬ for partnering with us throughout this renovation and getting us exactly what we needed to take on this huge job ourselves.

Did you know that you can DIY a roof on an RV like ours for less than $1,000?! That's about 7x-10x LESS than what you'd be charged at a repair shop.

And of course, etrailer has everything you need to get the job done. Check out their complete RV roof kits (with membranes!) here: https://bit.ly/etrailer-roof-kits

Want to see us tackle the job? Watch our latest video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxs8f...

And if you've already watched, after seeing us do it, we want to know... would you try it?!

No video tonight because this one just couldn’t be split in two parts.

So, get ready for this Sunday’s long, epic roof repair video!!

This is probably the biggest RV repair project Craig and I have ever tackled, and we jumped all in on this one. We can’t wait for you to see it all!

COMING SUNDAY! Make sure you’re subscribed, you won’t want to miss this.

This Giving Tuesday, Lectric eBikes reached out to 50 partners (including us!) to each receive $5,000 to donate to the charity of their choice. We chose Shine Tallahassee, a non-profit that helps teens and adults with special needs, that we donate 10% of our WRVL community revenue to.

In addition, Lectric is donating $250 for each ebike sold today to help provide for foster children in the Phoenix area. That's on top of the huge discounts they are still offering!

We are so grateful to be partnered with companies that have a heart for doing good in the community and prioritize giving back.

So, check out Lectric eBikes today and help raise money for foster children: https://lectricebikes.sjv.io/anD0XM

This is the biggest discount we've ever seen for GEN-Y Hitch! Use code GENY20 to save 20%: https://bit.ly/gen-y-hitch

This entire year, we've chosen only 3 brands to partner with for our video sponsorships and GEN-Y Hitch is one of them. This weekend, we're helping out these brands who have supported us all year long by sharing their biggest sales of the year.

So, if you're in the market for any hitches or accessories this holiday season, be sure to check out GEN-Y Hitch. And, thank you for supporting the brands that support us! We are extremely selective with our partners and only ever want to share companies that have products we believe in and a team you can trust.

We’re thankful for you! ❤️🦃 Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope that you are spending it with people you love and eating good food.

We recently hit 60K subscribers here and wow, we just want to say thank you for being here. About two years ago we decided that we wanted to “try YouTube again”, mainly because we were planning a trip to Baja and just knew that it would be a trip that should be documented (and it was!), but we never imagined that it would be the beginning of something that would become such a huge part of our lives.

We are so grateful that we get to share our life and adventures with you all and can’t express how thankful we are that you are on this journey with us.

Word on the street is that a lot of you are planning an RV trip to Alaska in 2025 or 2026 after coming along for our journey this summer. Here's something to help you prepare!

After 3 months and 8,000+ miles driving to Alaska and back with our RV, we sat down and worked with our partner etrailer to put together an Alaska Prep Guide.

Check it out here: https://bit.ly/alaska-prep-list

This is a list of the key upgrades or spare parts that we're either glad we had or wish we had! (e.g. like the spare leaf spring that we could have used when our center spring broke in the middle of the remote Yukon Territory).

Want to save this list for later? Enter your email here and I'll send you a link so that you can have it for your future Alaska trip planning: https://wildrvlife.com/blog/get-alaska-prep-list/

Many of you know that in "real time" we had come to North Carolina right before the storm hit to visit with family. Thank you to everyone who reached out to ask about us and our family. We are so blessed and thankful that all our family members made it through this storm safe and sound.

So many were not as fortunate. It's been heartbreaking to see all the destruction in this area of the country, but today we volunteered with Samaritan's Purse near Asheville and it was amazing to see so many people responding to help this community. The response at a beginning of a disaster is usually the strongest, so I want to encourage you to continue thinking of those affected by Hurricane Helene, in the coming weeks, months and even years.

Continue praying and because there will be a long hard road to recovery ahead. We are especially praying for those who have lost loved ones in this disaster and for those still missing and those searching for them.

If you are able, consider donating or volunteering with an organization providing aid (do not attempt to just drive to this area on your own because many roads are not open still).

Here are some organizations that can provide more information:

When it comes to towing, what’s most important to you?

Our ‪@GENYHITCH‬ has been checking ALL the boxes for us, but our favorite feature has to be the ability to utilize our entire truck bed 🙌 And the torsion flex tech that helped smooth out the ride on all those frost heaves during our Alaska trip (ok maybe we have a couple of favorites).

What do you look for in a hitch?

Thanks to our partner, GEN-Y Hitch for making such an awesome hitch & if you're going to upgrade your setup, use code WILDRVLIFE to save 15% on their website: https://bit.ly/gen-y-gooseneck

Towing experience (smooth ride, etc)

Safety & reliability

Ability to utilize truck bed space

All of the above

Been thinking about getting Lectric e-bikes? We saw that they’ve got some awesome Labor Day Sales going on!

Get the deals here: https://lectricebikes.sjv.io/4Pd6vG

We got to ride our Lectric XP 3.0s around Alaska this summer and they always make exploring so much more fun! (We even got to ride past a bear as it darted into the woods on one of our evening rides 🤯) What’s your favorite way to explore a new place? Biking, walking or driving?

And thank you to Lectric for being such an awesome partner for our channel.
