I've been recording my life for over 10 years, and still continue to do so extensively. Among many things I find fascinating in life, the inevitability of time seems most interesting. I appreciate every moment of life, happy and sad, yet there's nothing I can do to stop it from passing - so I capture and create as many things as I can that can outlast my own self. As part of that goal, I've decided to publish small portions from my extensive archive of personal footage in the form of a permanent, ongoing film. This is an active artwork that allows the viewer to witness the passing of time, specifically MY time, from an outside perspective. Like my paintings, I view this film as a Time Machine. I believe we (or our creations, i.e computers) will eventually be able to conquer the inevitability of time. Until then, we must live by its rules and contribute as much as we can within the timespan that's been given to us. 3:47AM, Jun 14, 2019 in West Hollywood, CA, USA.
