This channel was set up by a team of surgeons, oncologists, physiotherapists and specialist nurses who help to look after patients with breast cancer in South East Wales, UK. Initially it features some of our amazing patients who helped us in filming the App exercise sessions, a tour around the local radiotherapy department at Velindre cancer centre and the oncology physiotherapists talking about exercise in the post operative period. Our aims are to give you interesting and relevant content about Breast Cancer and its treatment and to make this a useful resource that patients, their friends and relatives can refer back to. Knowledge is power and we want to enable you to get the information you need or know who to ask for it. We have launched the BAPS App (available in Google store or in the App store) aimed at guiding post operative exercises after surgery for breast cancer in the breast or axilla (armpit).
