The Namkhai Collection reflects the life, interests and research of a world renown Tibetan Buddhist Master and scholar, who was both a university professor and acclaimed author. Built over a lifetime of study and travel around the world, the Collection is an extension of his lifelong dedication to promoting an understanding and appreciation of Asian culture and its preservation. As a reflection of its creator, the Collection exemplifies a reintegration of the sacred within material culture, representing the inner aspirations and evolution of the cultures the Collection embodies, as no other collection. Working with the Collection remains for all of us a continuous source of inspiration and wonder, which we hope to communicate by sharing the Collection with the public.
