Singer/Songwriter & Guitarist for Bailey Callahan, Rachel Horter, Laura Walsh, and others. A Texan in Nashille, when not on the road, you can find Skinner in the clubs of downtown Nashville’s historic Broadway music scene, as well as in the recording studios of Nashville’s legendary Music Row. As a teenager, he was a regular in the Texas music scene performing at some the Lone Star State’s most renowned venues like Gruene Hall, Billy Bob’s, and the Silver Spur. After years of touring, Skinner went on hiatus to hone his formal training in college. In 2010, upon moving to Nashville, he re-entered the professional music world and works with a plethora of writers and artists from nearly every genre. Austin is first-call hired gun for the aforementioned artists, as well as a utility/substitute player for countless others in the local scene and beyond. Though not a gambler, he holds monthly and quarterly residencies at several of Las Vegas’ finest casinos.
