We've been talking about money with our kids often and now I'm going to start doing more practical exercises with my older daughter. She's obviously using the cat version of both of these worksheets. 😂

I’m not having the Christmas season I expected but I’ve still got A LOT to be grateful for these days, including these munchkins. 💗 

Funny story, last week after publishing my video... I went to the ER. I wasn't feeling good and anxiety made me question whether it was normal or leading to immediate death. 😟

Luckily, I'm FINE! I have some fun things to manage now (and a nice bill to budget) but one thing that caused the situation was STRESS. Because of that, I decided to step back and take the week off from filming. 

Taking a few days off has been great and also clarified some things about the direction for Pennies Not Perfection. 

1. I changed my channel membership to become The Committed Club ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCk51hDRqehBx0UVpXfXmRpg/join )
2. I will be doing more personal videos again because I miss doing them
3. I will stop spreading myself too thin with too many things (less platforms, fewer side hustles, more help)
4. I will also stress less about taking breaks like this when I can't publish new content

It also made me realize my 2025 goal of spending more on health and focusing more on health is more important than ever!! 

New videos will be coming after Christmas but until then I would love if you could watch my goals video or any video on the channel. Love y'all! <3

I mentioned in a recent video that I’m using spreadsheets with my husband and trying something new to get us more aligned with our money. I’ve uploaded the versions we are using and have a few more spreadsheets that will be added soon! ✨

These spreadsheets are easy, not scary, and turn your budget into a self-updating tool to keep you on track. So far, so good! ✅
