Aimed at high-school classrooms, this six-part youth-driven film project from the Canada Aviation and Space Museum features Canadian veteran airmen and women from the RCAF, RAF, WAAF and Polish Air Force, as well as European civilians, as they share their experiences during the Second World War. Through a series of montages produced from more than 35 interviews, the videos examine conflict and resulting changes in the human condition. Interlaced with dramatic sequences designed to provide context and enhance educational opportunities, the six 30-minute episodes are accompanied by suggested lesson plans and activities that can be accessed via the Museum’s website.
