Technical analysis is a very useful tool for me. Even for long-term investing, my priority is to use TA. It helps me to identify potential trends before I find if it is worth my time to study the fundamentals. It is so evident that whenever the new fund flows into a potential market, its price behaviours will give us plenty of clues. This usually comes before we start reading about its fundamental developments in the news. Needless to say, using TA for my short-term trades is a must. It helps me to plan for my stop loss and maximise each profit in every swing. In short, I will not be able to live with it for both investing and trading. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
