After I was medically evacuated from the combat-zone in Afghanistan, my biggest dream of becoming a pilot started to feel impossible. History: My grandfather served in the US Army, later earning him his American citizenship. Following his time in service, he and his twin brother purchased a beautiful airplane. They photos of them proudly standing beside their flying machine inspired me to fly someday as well. Like my grandfather, I joined the Army; However, I was injured in Afghanistan and doubted my ability to ever pilot an aircraft on my own. I discovered paramotors randomly in the same way that you've randomly come to this (right here). I spent months consumed by the thought of getting to own my own aircraft!
