The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, also popularly known as the INDIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH is a prominent member of the family of Oriental Orthodox Churches. It traces its origins to the arrival of St. Thomas the Apostle, who came to India in AD 52. The newly built St. Thomas’ Indian Orthodox Church at Hemel Hempstead was consecrated on Friday 31, August and Saturday 01, September 2012. We have Saturdays – Evening prayer @ 07:00 PM, Sundays – Morning Prayer @ 09:00 AM, – Holy Eucharist @ 10:00 AM, Sunday School @ 01:00 PM and English service every 4th Sunday.
