Info
Hana is autistic but people-friendly and loves to be involved with group play, but she can't talk yet, so she jumps around kids to show excitement/approval. Autistic children's brain nerves are wired differently from ordinary children; however, they still feel love and have a wide range of emotions, just like all people. They tend to have social norms that differ from regular people, e.g., They don't like making eye contact and don't know how to fake their feelings. They also get sensory overload like a young Superman. I am her father, and I am studying at ASU's Graduate School of Nursing. This channel tracks Hana's growth as an Autistic girl and can be helpful to parents of special kids. My advice to other autistic parents is to make sure they get plenty of exercise and stay away from processed food.
